Two Google apps that don't speak to each other
Google owns both Google Maps and Waze, but their links live in separate worlds. A maps.google.com or maps.app.goo.gl URL opens the Google Maps app or a browser tab, never Waze. So when you send a Google Maps place to a die-hard Waze driver, they end up copying the address and pasting it into Waze's search bar, usually while they should be driving.
A universal link removes that step. One link, and each person's phone opens the place in the map app they actually navigate with.

You don't need a separate Waze link generator. Find the place in Google Maps, copy its link, paste it above, and share the JamShare link you get back. Waze drivers open it in Waze with live traffic; everyone else opens it in Google Maps or Apple Maps, so guests on any phone end up at the same door.
That makes it the simplest way to create a Waze link for an event invite, a restaurant's contact page or a delivery note. Put the JamShare link behind a “Navigate here” button, or print it as a QR code, and it keeps working whatever map app the person has.
