FAQ

1. Do you have anything for artists?

  • Yes. JamArtist gives musicians a free branded landing page for each release. Paste one link and it is matched across Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, YouTube, Tidal, Deezer, Pandora and SoundCloud, with views and taps reported back to you.

2. How to share music?

  • Open the song in your music app, tap Share, choose JamShare, then send the JamShare link.
  • Your friend can open the link in their preferred supported music app instead of asking you to resend it from another service.

3. How to share maps?

  • Open the place in your maps app, tap Share, choose JamShare, then send the JamShare link.
  • The recipient can open the place in their preferred supported map app, including Google Maps, Apple Maps, or Waze.

4. How to add JamShare to my favorites in sharing options?

  • Open the share sheet, tap More or Edit, find JamShare, and add it to your favorites.
  • After that, JamShare should show up faster the next time you share from a music or maps app.

5. Can I share playlists, albums, or podcasts?

  • JamShare supports songs, albums, playlists, and places today. Podcast support is not listed as a current JamShare share type.
  • For music, use JamShare when you want one share link people can open in their own supported music app. It is not a full music library transfer tool.

6. Do universal music links work when shared in texts, DMs, and group chats?

  • Yes. You can send a JamShare music link in texts, DMs, and group chats like any other link.
  • The person opening it can choose their preferred supported music app from the JamShare link.

7. What happens if a shared song is not available on the recipient's music service?

  • If the exact song is not available on the recipient's service, JamShare may not be able to open the same item there.
  • In that case, the recipient can try another supported app or search for the song manually in their service.

8. Can I send one song link that works for both iPhone and Android users?

  • Yes. JamShare links can be shared with both iPhone and Android users.
  • The useful part is that the link is not locked to the sender's app. The recipient can open it in a supported app they already use.

9. Can I send one address link that opens in Google Maps, Apple Maps, or Waze?

  • Yes. JamShare is built for sharing one place link that can open in Google Maps, Apple Maps, or Waze.
  • Share the place to JamShare, send the JamShare link, and the recipient can pick their map app.

10. Can I set a default map app for opening shared location links?

  • Yes. JamShare supports default map app settings, so shared places can open faster in the map app you prefer.
  • You can still use another supported map app when you need to.

11. How can I stop map links from opening in the wrong navigation app?

  • Set your preferred map app in JamShare, then open shared places through the JamShare link instead of the original app-specific link.
  • That keeps a Google Maps, Apple Maps, or Waze share from forcing everyone into the sender's navigation app.
