Why Yandex Music links don't open anywhere else
A music.yandex.ru link points at Yandex's own catalog, and outside the countries Yandex Music serves the web player often won't even load. Send one to a friend on Spotify or Apple Music and they get an error page or a sign-up wall instead of the song.

Russian and Latin names still match
Plenty of artists appear in Cyrillic on one service and in Latin letters on another: Кино is Kino, Сплин is Splean. JamShare matches by the recording's ISRC code first, compares names across both alphabets, and checks title, edition and length. If it isn't sure a track is the same recording, it leaves that app out rather than sending your friend the wrong version.
