Why Spotify links don't work for Apple Music users
A Spotify link carries Spotify's internal track ID. Apple Music has no idea what that ID means; its catalog uses completely different references. So when an Apple Music user taps your Spotify link, their phone opens a Spotify web preview or an App Store prompt instead of the song.

What converts and what can't
Songs and albums convert most reliably, because titles, artists and album metadata are consistent across platforms. Playlist sharing supports Spotify, SoundCloud, YouTube Music, Tidal and Apple Music.
One honest caveat: catalogs aren't identical. If a track is a Spotify exclusive or isn't licensed in the recipient's country, no converter can produce an Apple Music link for it, because the song simply doesn't exist there. For major releases this is rare.
Works in both directions, and beyond music
